Mentor, guide, confidante,

Allison’s practice is rooted in the holistic traditions of Yoga and Ayurveda. She has had a deep connection to Yoga since she first started practising 20 years ago. For Allison, yoga is a way of living and being. It is part of her daily practice and guides her in her journey to grow as a human and spiritual being every single day. 

 Approaching everything she does with curiosity, wonder and joy, Allison believes that it is through experience that we learn and grow—a belief that she is keen to share with her students.

 In her classes and workshops, Allison creates a supportive and loving atmosphere where the focus is on healing and restoring the mind, body and soul. Each class is intentionally intimate in size, with a slow, relaxed pace and a focus on breathing. 

Allison’s yoga practice is informed by the Krishnamacharya tradition and the lineage of Sri Tirumalai Krishnamacharya and his son, T.K.V. Desikachar. She is blessed and grateful for the teachers who have guided her through her journey, most notably, Ante and Felicia Pavlovic, Shira Taylor, Angiela Teo and Dana Chapman. Allison continues to grow every day through her practice and study of yoga philosophy, meditation, mindfulness, and anatomy.

She continually seeks to advance her knowledge and add new layers to her yogic practice. With this goal in mind, she is currently working towards completing my Certified Yoga Therapist training through Yoga Therapy Toronto.
